Telephone set made for Austrian Emperor and Hungarian King Franz Josef I (1830-1916). The standard LB model Ericsson telephone set is housed in a rectangular black metal case, which is decorated by the Hungarian coat-of-arms in enamel in the middle. The fork supporting the handpiece and the hook holding the extension receiver are made of nickel-coated metal. The line connecting cable is six-strand, cotton-insulated and ends in a round wooden wall socket.
