We offer various educational and entertaining activities for children visiting our programmes, thus providing an enjoyable way of learning.

Younger children may write with tools of the past, like the quill-pen or the reed pen. By following the trail of their wax-sealed envelopes on historic postal maps from different centuries, they can also learn how letters were transported from sender to receiver, and how it is done today. Elder children can set up Morse-type workplaces, from where they can send Morse-coded messages. They may also try manually operated small telephone centres and can disassemble or assemble later telephone models, which will help them to understand the operation of such devices.

Interactivity, creativity and role-playing are all in the focus of our programmes, along with the attainment and use of new historic and social knowledge.

Admission price for museum pedagogy programmes: 400 Ft/person
